The Robert G. Leonard Memorial Lecture
The Robert G. Leonard Memorial Lecture is presented at the TSHP Annual Seminar under the joint sponsorship of The University of Texas College of Pharmacy and the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists. The Robert G. Leonard Memorial Fund is a separately endowed fund within the TSHP R&E Foundation with disbursements coming only from investment proceeds. Donations continue to be accepted for this fund and the Foundation hopes to soon be able to support small grants for clinical research projects.

He served as the Coordinator of the Clinical Pharmacy Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio beginning in September 1975. In addition, Bob received the Teaching Excellence Award from the UT Austin, College of Pharmacy in 1980.

His caring nature and his commitment to excellence touched many; each mourned his death on September 6, 1981.
